With a capacity of 300 beds, the hospital was designed as a small village inspired by the environment of the Al-Ahsa Oasis with its various elements, water, palm trees and desert. This building represents the northern gate of Al-Ahsa and one of its prominent architectural landmarks.
The design was supervised by the leading engineering company HDR, and the design is based on the use of materials that increase sustainability and recyclability, in addition to the use of environmentally friendly building materials in accordance with the standards of the LEED Platinum certification for green buildings.
The hospital is located on an area of 100,000 square meters, with a hospital capacity of 300 beds and 7 specialized centers.
